Uninstall Instructions

We're sorry to see you go!  Once our app has been uninstalled from your Shopify store, you will no longer be billed for the subscription. To uninstall Wholesale Gorilla follow these simple steps.

  1. From your Shopify admin, open Wholesale Gorilla.

  2. Click the 3 dots in the upper right corner, and click Uninstall.

  3. A confirmation message will pop up, click Uninstall.

  4. Remove navigation links (optional).  If you added links to our wholesale signup or login forms to your site, remove the links from your store navigation. 

Have you been charged after uninstalling our app?

Due to Shopify’s billing cycle, you may be charged for our app even after uninstalling during your 21-day free trial. Shopify manages all app billing, and occasionally, charges may process after an app is removed. While this is rare, if you experience this issue, please contact our team, and we will promptly issue a credit.

Optional Steps after Uninstalling

Once you uninstall Wholesale Gorilla from within your Shopify admin, no further action is needed.  If you would like to remove Pages and files from your theme that were added by Wholesale Gorilla, you can follow these steps.

Deleting pages

  1. From your Shopify admin, click Online Store, then open the Pages tab.

  2. Select the following pages:

    Wholesale Login
    Wholesale Cart
    Wholesale Registration Form
    Quick Order Form
    Create a Wholesale Account
    Wholesale Proxy
  3. Click Actions > Delete pages.

Removing Theme Code

  • Click Online Store and open the Themes tab.

  • Open the code editor by clicking the 3 dots on the theme you want to edit, and then click Edit code

  • Open the theme.liquid file.  You can search this in the bar at the top to make sure you get the right file.

    Find the following code {% render 'wsg-custom' %}.  , delete it, and save.

       Tip: You can press control+f (cmd+f on mac) to search for this code in the theme file.

Deleting Theme Files

  • In the theme code editor, type wsg in the search bar.  This should pull up 6 files prepended with wsg-

       

  • Delete these files by clicking the trash icon next to the file name.
