Customize your Wholesale Portal experience—from branded messages and color themes to catalog layout, cart behavior, and login options—helping create a seamless, on-brand wholesale storefront without touching your theme.
Once installed, the Wholesale Portal is immediately available to wholesale customers upon login. Hosted entirely within Wholesale Gorilla, it serves as a fully separate storefront that displays exclusive pricing and features. You can fine-tune this environment through a variety of customization settings found under Online Store → Wholesale Portal Settings in the app dashboard.
The Wholesale Portal is where your wholesale customers make purchases on your store once you give them login credentials. The Wholesale Portal is enabled as soon as you install Wholesale Gorilla and it shows your wholesale pricing and features to your wholesale customers. When B2B customers log in, they will only have access to the dedicated wholesale section of your store.

You can locate the Wholesale Portal settings within the Online Store > Wholesale portal settings > Manage Settings.
Customizing the wholesale account page
Customize what your B2B customers see when they log in to your store. You can use this message to update your customers on new products and discounts.
Customizing the catalog
Shape how your wholesale catalog appears by selecting which collections to display and reordering them visually. Control page layout by setting product-per-page counts (1–100), grid column numbers (responsive to screen size), and image aspect ratio (Adapt to image, Portrait, Landscape, or Square). You can also choose to hide sold-out items to keep the shopping experience clean and efficient.
You can customize the collections that appear on the catalog on the collection page by ‘Choose Collections’ and ‘Add all collections’ options.
Once selected, drag to adjust which order they appear in for your wholesale customers by clicking on the collection's grid icon and dragging it above or below other collections.
If you ever want to remove a collection, you can use the ‘Delete’ option, or can remove all with the ‘Clear All’ button.

You can add an optional message, displayed at the top of your Wholesale Portal, to align with your brand and/or to welcome your customers to shop wholesale.
To adjust the Banner message, edit the text in the ‘Custom Text’ box, and then click the ‘Save’ button.
Edit the information that appears in the footer of all pages on your Wholesale Portal. You can also select to include Terms or Service and/or a Privacy Policy.
Customizing the wholesale cart
The Wholesale Portal’s cart page offers flexibility - enable or require order notes, adjust tax behavior, or allow international customers to submit orders as editable drafts. These features help streamline checkout and support tailored customer experiences.
You have access to a handful of customizations of this cart page, including customizing the order note, adjusting your customer’s taxes and allowing for international draft checkouts. All of these settings are outlined here.
Adding a wholesale login and signup form
By adding our wholesale login and signup form to your main site navigation, your customers can generate wholesale accounts to access the Wholesale Portal. You also have the option to manually create their wholesale account, or to convert an existing retail account if they are already in your system.
